Built for More Than Just Parking
The Lander is a 32×48 shop with a 16-foot covered porch — 1,536 square feet of enclosed workspace plus protected outdoor space for the stuff that doesn't need to be inside but shouldn't be sitting in the weather. Two 10×10 overhead doors on the front give you drive-through access for trucks, trailers, and equipment. Three walk doors and a 6-foot double door mean you're never walking the long way around. The covered porch runs the full length of one side — perfect for a workbench setup, material staging, or just getting out of the sun with a cold drink at the end of the day. This package ships with ZIP System sheathing on the roof and walls — meaning it's insulation-ready from day one. Two-tone steel (Ash Gray walls, Charcoal roof and trim) gives it a clean, finished look that fits on a residential property or a commercial lot. The Lander is named after the Wyoming town at the base of the Wind River Range — a place where people work hard, play harder, and expect their buildings to keep up.

Foundation & Site Prep
The Lander uses Sturdi-Wall Plus wet-set brackets — your concrete contractor sets the brackets in the slab before the building crew arrives. We provide a foundation plan with exact bracket placement dimensions as part of the engineering package. Most contractors pour a 4" slab with thickened edges at column locations.
Permits & Engineering
Most counties require a building permit for a structure this size. Your Western engineering package includes stamped plans that satisfy most jurisdictions. We recommend pulling your permit before pouring concrete — your local building department will tell you exactly what they need, and our engineering team can help answer their questions.
The Build Process
Once your foundation is poured and brackets are set, your crew can start framing. Western delivers the full package on our trucks — trusses, steel, columns, doors, hardware, and fasteners all arrive together. An experienced post-frame crew typically frames and closes in a 32×48 in 5–7 working days. Interior finish timeline depends on your scope.
How Much Does a 32x48 Pole Barn Cost?
A 32×48 post-frame building package from Western typically falls in the $35,000–$50,000 range depending on configuration, door selections, and upgrades. This is a materials package price — it does not include concrete, labor, insulation, or interior finish. The Lander ships as a complete, ready-to-build package with everything your crew needs above the foundation.
