Barndominium entry with Versetta Stone, Diamond Kote siding and timber porch posts

Luxury Barndominium Kits

A luxury barndominium starts with the same engineered post-frame shell as any other. What sets it apart is height, glass and finish: stone wainscot, pre-finished siding, timber-wrapped posts and textured steel. We supply all of it with the kit.

Luxury barndominium questions.

What makes a barndominium luxury?

The structure is the same engineered post-frame shell; the difference is height, glass and finish. Tall eaves and vaulted great rooms, stone wainscot, pre-finished siding, timber porch posts, larger windows and darker textured steel are what move a barndominium from utility building to custom home.

How much does a luxury barndominium kit cost?

Shell materials run roughly $25 to $75 per square foot industry-wide, and luxury builds sit at the upper end because of eave height, glazing and finishes. For a 50x80 that works out to roughly $100,000 to $300,000 in shell materials, before interior finish, labor, concrete and site work.

Can I customize a barndominium kit?

Yes. Every kit is engineered to your plan — size, eave height, window and door openings, porches and finishes — so a custom barndominium is the normal case, not an upcharge for a special order.

Do you sell modern farmhouse barndominium kits?

Yes. The modern farmhouse look usually comes down to a light steel color with dark trim, black window frames, a timber porch and a steep gable. Browse the steel color chart to pair a body color and trim before you price the kit.

Do you supply the premium finishes with the kit?

Yes. We supply Versetta Stone, Diamond Kote siding, Gerkin windows and textured or woodgrain steel with the building package, so the finishes arrive with the structure.
